CNR has successfully designed and delivered a high-speed test rig for advanced diagnostics and analysis of automotive transmissions, combining precision engineering with operator safety and ease of use.
This bespoke solution was developed to meet the demanding requirements of the automotive sector, where accurate testing is critical for performance validation and product reliability.
Engineering Design for Accuracy and Safety
The rig’s rigid framework was engineered to provide absolute stability during high-speed testing, ensuring precise measurement and repeatable results. Despite its structural strength, the design allows for easy alignment adjustments and full accessibility to critical test components.
Sensor and coupling positions were optimised to enable accurate data capture while preventing component damage. Dedicated installation and monitoring procedures were integrated into the design to ensure correct operation during every test cycle.
Bespoke Guarding for Operator Protection
Safety was a top priority. Custom guarding systems were developed to protect operators, contain moving parts, and ensure testing processes were not affected by external interference. This guarding system meets both operational safety requirements and industry best practices for test rig environments.
